Full Itinerary

Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro Airport

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). After completing all immigration procedures, Meet your guide / tour representative, hold a sign with your name, drive to Arusha, have dinner and spend the night at the African Tulip Hotel (about 1 hour drive)

Day 1 & 2: Arusha - Tarangire

Pick up from the hotel and drive to Tarangire national park for game drive in the park, with picnic lunch. Tarangire named after the Tarangire River which rises in Tanzania’s central highland which supporting the ecosystem of Tarangire both Fauna and Flora, the river lures thousands of plains game to its banks with variety of Carnivores, Herbivores and Predators, also the park famous for tree climbing Python. Afternoon/evening game drives en route to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Maramboi tented Lodge.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Early breakfast drive heading to Lake Manyara national park for game drive with picnic lunch. This is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara teems with birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. 

There are a surprising number of other large mammals and the striking cliffs on the Rift escarpment form a dramatic backdrop. Later drive karatu village for dinner and overnight at Farm house lodge.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Carater

Early breakfast, descend into the largest intact volcanic Crater in the world for the tour of the Crater the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for Crater tour. Follow by picnic lunch at the location within the Crater. At more than 2,000 feet deep and 12 miles in diameter, the Ngorongoro Crater has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. 

30,000 animals make their home in this crater, making it an ideal place for sightings of the lion, elephant, rare black rhino, buffalo and leopard. Dinner and overnight at Farm House lodge.

Day 5 & 6: Central Serengeti

After breakfast drive to Serengeti national park for game drive with picnic lunch. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing. The Serengeti ecosystem is one of the oldest on earth. 

It is most well-known for the annual migration which takes place across the great savannah plains annually in their natural route and places since the time of immemorial. Dinner and overnight at kubukubu tented lodge

Day 7/8 /9: Western Serengeti National Park

After breakfast Travel to Western Serengeti by the Grumeti River where the grass is nutrient-rich and capable of offering the migratory herds a proper supply of food and water. This is the time and place to witness the famous Grumeti River crossings. See giant Nile crocodiles basking in the sun, waiting patiently in the water for the big migration to enter the area. 

You will have opportunities to catch thrilling game action or perhaps even witness a river crossing, as the wildebeests and zebras endeavor one of the most difficult part of their migration journey and cross over to Grumeti River. Dinner and overnight at Lahia Tented Lodge

Day 10: Serengeti & Home

This is your last morning in the Serengeti. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast or perhaps head out early for a short early morning game drive before traveling to Grumeti Airstrip to catch your scheduled flight back to Arusha. Upon pick-up, make an optional stop a local shop with an abundance of wood carvings, artifacts, paintings and crafts. Afterwards, rest at a day room and enjoy a farewell lunch in Arusha before leaving for your departure at Kilimanjaro Airport.
